HOW TO ORDER

Contact me through my contact form.  I'll reply with a price.  I'll also suggest a composition based on the photo you attached.  More than one photo and I'll often make a rough-photo layout.  We'll discuss by email until you give the OK to proceed.  Then I'll email an invoice so you can pay securely online in your own currency through PayPal (no PayPal account needed).  Or pay by check after I give my address.  Once you pay, I'll start.  And in around two to three weeks, I'll finish.  Once finished I'll email a small version of your portrait, plus ship the original.  Worldwide.

° SIZES:   The size of your portrait is what you would see through an opening in a mat.  A mat is that heavy-paper part of a picture frame underneath the frame glass.  So the drawing size is what you pay for while the actual paper size I draw on is bigger by about an inch all the way around.  In this column the sizes are in inches with equivalent centimeter and ISO sizes.

° PRICES:   The amount in this column is for one subject.  A subject is the focus of your portrait . . . a person, a pet, a house.

° EX SUBJ:   Extra subjects.  As mentioned above, the portrait price includes one subject.  Each subject over one costs extra by the amounts listed in this column.  For example, if your portrait contained four subjects which were two people, a dog, and a wooded background, then you would pay for the portrait and also pay for three extra subjects (person, dog, background).

° VIDEO:   These prices are for a time-lapse video I can make of me drawing your portrait.  I can clown it up like the videos on my 'videos' page, or make it serious.   It's up to you.  I'll send you an email version (low MB's) and a version burnt on a DVD.   You must also purchase a portrait.

° FRAME:   The amounts in this column are for a wooden frame like that pictured above when you mouse-over the word 'framing.'  Frames are brown or black.  There is a glass front, and under the glass a heavy paper mat (cream, gray or khaki color).  I put them together.  I seal the back of the frame to protect from dust.  I attach hanging hardware.  And I sign the back.
